Grania Heal, General Manager at Siemens Healthineers Ireland

Grania Heal spent over 19 years in healthcare related roles before being appointed as General Manager at Siemens Healthineers Ireland in 2019. She started her career as a Radiographer, before moving to Siemens Healthineers in 2005. Upon joining Siemens, Grania initially started out as a CT product specialist in England, before becoming an Account Manager for the North of Ireland. This pathway has given Grania in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and procurement models across Great Britain and Ireland.

Helen Calvey, Business Manager at Siemens Healthineers Ireland

Helen Calvey graduated as a Diagnostic Radiographer before achieving an MBA from Smurfit School of Business, UCD. Over the past 20 years Helen has held management roles in both public and private healthcare facilities. She joined Siemens in 2010 as Senior Account Manager before becoming Business Manager at Siemens Healthineers Ireland in 2020. These varied healthcare business roles have consolidated her knowledge of hospital organisations and the challenges presented within. Helen is passionate about the ability of industry to streamline the patient pathway and improve patient outcomes through value based procurement.

Matt Gibson has been with Siemens Healthineers for over 16 years and is currently  

Matt Gibson has been with Siemens Healthineers for over 16 years and is currently Care pathology division and also managed the Healthineers Digital Health portfolio in the GB & I covering elements of artificial intelligence, operational performance management, and eHealth. Having managed both imaging and pathology portfolios as well as the digital elements of our Healthineers business has provided a very wide understanding of healthcare dynamics in the GB and Ireland and what’s possible to deliver now, and in the future.

Mark Borley, Head of Business Development Great Britain and Ireland

Mark Borley has been with Siemens Healthineers since 2017 as Head of Business Development for Enterprise Services across the UK & Republic of Ireland. Mark started his career in pharmaceutical manufacturing and has spent the last 15 years working in MedTech. Previous roles include commercial/sales leadership as well as healthcare procurement and logistics. In his role at Siemens Healthineers, Mark is responsible for driving bespoke industry-provider partnerships. He and his team support health systems with optimising their operations, expanding their clinical capabilities and advancing innovation.
